Traditional, renewable energy sectors meet power conference

Over 8,000 power-industry professionals from more than 75 countries converged on Bangkok this week for the Asia Power Week Conference and Exhibition.
The confab combined attendance from the traditional power industry and from renewable sectors, with POWER-GEN Asia and Renewable Energy World Asia joining for the September 19-21 event held at BITEC.
Organisers saw the event’s success as a clear indication that Asia continues to attract the attention of the international power generation industry players.
In addition to speeches and presentations from key players in Thailand and from throughout SE Asia, the event boasted an exhibition floor with more than 200 exhibitors demonstrating the latest leading technologies and solutions.
The event delivered quality content and shared experience from acknowledged experts in the fields, as well as high-level networking and potential business opportunities, said a press release.
