More blacktip reef sharks spotted at recovering Maya Bay

Thai authorities in Hua Hin, Prachuab Khiri Khan province, have finally admitted that the injuries suffered by a Norwegian tourist while swimming off a Hua Hin beach were made by a shark.
THE CHIEF of Koh Hong National Park at Than Bok Khorani National Park has revealed that more than 10 blacktip reef sharks have recently been spotted hunting for small shellfish by several tourists at Koh Hong in Krabi.
A school of 10 blacktip reef sharks was spotted hunting smaller fish in shallow waters near Koh Hong in Krabi’s Thanbok Khoranee National Park on Sunday morning. The sharks, each about one-metre long, were visible for over 30 minutes before they dived into deep water.
