Dressed in BMW blue

Fashion house Poem joins with the luxury carmaker's agent in Thailand for its newest collection

A subtle deep shade of blue captured the hourglass shape of Poem’s newest collection, which was revealed recently by the label’s creative director, Chavanon Caisiri in a lavish affair hosted by Amorn Prestige ltd, the official agent of BMW in Thailand
Chavanon says the collection is more elegant and minimal than the brand’s usual offerings, telling the press that he added more modernity to the creations.
“We are particularly proud of the dress which closed out the show, which emphasises structure and our perspective in collaborating with BMW, he said.
The recent event also introduced Amorn Prestige’s first complete BMW after-sales service outlet on Soi Ratchada 42. Spread over 1,171 square metres, the outlet offers complete service from professional team and authentic replacement parts guaranteed by BMW.
The fashion show, also titled “Deeper Shade of Blue”, featured 10 looks, eight of them for women and two for men, with the designs based on BMW’s trademark blue.
The dresses boasted an hourglass shape and the brand’s signature corset technique and came in a geometric print that enhanced a lady’s curves. Polyester was the fabric of choice, with a hint of luxury coming from velvet. The men suits were superbly designed and made with a special technique to look sophisticated for eveningwear. The jackets were a one-button tux with collars and pockets trimmed with glossy satin fabric and worn with an elegant shirt and bow tie.
