Bt600 monthly subsidy ‘unlocked’ for elderly, disabled and infants

Under this plan, Bt600 monthly support will be given to the elderly and disabled, as well as young parents who need to register first.
Wilawan Phayanoi, the department’s deputy director-general, said funds had to be reallocated as some local administration departments were suffering a lack of funds.
“The Comptroller General’s Department is focusing on people’s wellbeing and has instructed the Department of Local Administration to start handing out money as of 4pm today [Monday],” she said.
Wilawan has also called on the administration department to ensure everybody is able to receive the money as scheduled.
