Image of Prayut greeting Thaksin’s daughters goes viral
An image of former prime minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha greeting members of the Shinawatra family at the Thailand Cultural Centre in Bangkok has gone viral on Facebook on Sunday.
A photo on the Facebook page "Nayok Talok" (PM is a funny person) showed Prayut greeting four members of the family during the premiere of Ramayana Khon on Friday.
The family members included Thaksin's daughter and Pheu Thai leader Paetongtarn, and her elder sister Pintongta Shinawatra Kunakornwong, as well as their husbands Pitaka Suksawat and Nuttaphong Kunakornwong respectively.
Apart from the former PM and the Shinawatra family, several politicians and celebrities had come to watch the performance, which will be staged until December 5.
