The woman posted 15 photos on her “gigminim” Tiktok account two days ago, showing a pile of garbage on the furniture, sofa, dining table, kitchen shelves and bed as well as in the toilet and on the balcony.
The garbage included paper wraps, paper boxes, plastic bags and plastic wraps, drink bottles, food containers, and used clothes and canvas shoes as well as used condoms.
The Thai woman said the French tenant had not paid rent for two months for her Pattanakarn-Thonglor unit so she came to check and when she opened the door she found the room “looking like a war zone”.
She shared the photos and story two days ago and by Sunday morning, the post was viewed over 1.2 million times and received over 27,700 likes and drew over 1,500 comments.
Some Tiktok users noticed that the tenant had left behind an electric guitar and two guitar amps, which they said the condo unit owner could sell to pay for the cleaning costs of her room. The user said a guitar amp appeared to be an expensive one and the guitar could fetch a good price, too.
Another Tiktok user expressed interest in buying a mini clothes washing machine left inside the washroom. The room owner said she must wait for a month before she could sell the belongings left behind by the tenant.
To a query on whether she had traced the whereabouts of the tenant, the woman replied that the Frenchman had left the country.
