The three expressways are Sirat, Chalerm Maha Nakhon and Udon Ratthaya. They are the primary routes drivers use to exit and enter the capital.
"Motorists can zip through all 60 toll booths on the three expressways," EXAT said.
EXAT said the move was part of the Transport Ministry's policy to reduce expenses for the public where possible.
Makha Bucha is celebrated on the full moon day of the third lunar month. It marks a gathering that the Buddha held with 1,250 of his disciples, signifying the creation of the Buddhist Sangha.
