Spartans to invade Pattaya

This September 9, the Spartan Thailand race will come to Thailand, challenging would-be heroes and heroines to pit themselves against a gamut of obstacles spread over a 5-km energy-sapping course.

Held at the Siam Country Club, Chonburi, the race will be held for five different categories of athlete – Elite Men, Elite Women, Competitive, Open Morning and Open Afternoon. There’s also a special short-course race for the kids.

The Spartan Race is an obstacle course race, with over 240 races held in 25 countries around the world this year. Spartan Race is not your everyday running race, however. Expect to run, climb, push, pull, throw and crawl through walls, hills, trees, mud, barbed wire and other challenging but fun obstacles. Did we mention mud?
