Japan aims to have recycled plastics account for at least 15 % of overall plastics used in production of new vehicle models, the Environment Ministry said Monday.
US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said Friday that there will be no exemptions from the upcoming US tariffs on automobile imports for Japan or any other countries.
