The government has launched a ThaiChana (Thai Victory) smartphone app after complaints that shoppers were forgetting to check out on the platform, while phishing scams were targeting users with fake QR codes.
A customer can sue a 7-Eleven convenience store employee who allegedly flirted via the Line application, Polawat Witoolkollachit, inspector-general at the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, said on Wednesday (May 27).
The number of businesses registering on the ThaiChana platform increased from 67,904 on Wednesday (May 20) to 73,295, while total individual users increased to 6.333 million from 5.077 million, Dr Taweesin Visanuyothin, spokesman of the government’s Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration, said on Thursday (May 21).
