Suspected mpox case in Mon State tests negative, health officials confirm

A suspected mpox patient discovered on a passenger vehicle at the permanent inspection gate in Myanchaung, Kyaikto Township, Mon State, on the afternoon of September 5, has tested negative for the virus, according to sources close to the Kyaikto Township Health Department.
