The broadcasting rights of the EPL in Thailand are owned by TrueVisions Group Co Ltd, which has re-sold the rights to PPTV HD for another three seasons, said Surin Krittiyapongphan, PPTV’s president, said.
“We are delighted that PPTV fans will be able to watch the EPL for another three seasons,” he said, adding that 30 matches will be televised live per season.
“And this year fans will be able to watch the important matches on PPTV.”
That includes matches between West Ham and Manchester City on August 10, Arsenal and Burnley on August 17, Norwich City and Chelsea on August 24, and Southampton and Manchester United on August 31.
PPTV HD has been broadcasting the EPL for the four seasons since 2015-16, but the matches shown were not significant ones.
