Pichai declines offer to become NOC Thailand vice president

His decision followed the copy of an appointment notice from NOC Thailand. Pichai, who also serves as president of the Thailand Boxing Association, subsequently submitted a letter to the committee’s secretary-general declining the offer.

"I would like to inform you that I am unable to accept this position due to important duties that require my attention," Pichai wrote.

In addition to his role as Finance Minister, Pichai also holds the position of Deputy Prime Minister.
