Thai women pull off thrilling victory over France in volleyball league

The Thais got off to a strong start, winning the first two sets 25-23, 25-21. However, France, who were placed a lowly 15th in the 16-team group at the start of the match, staged a fightback, levelling scores by winning the next two sets 25-23, 25-20.

In the deciding set, the Thai women regained their form and focus, winning convincingly 15-7. The second consecutive win moved them up to 11th place in the group with 2 wins, 4 losses, and 6 points.

The Thai women next face China on Saturday at 6.30pm local time.
