The move came after railway tracks on a route to the South were inundated following heavy rains.
All train trips to the three southernmost provinces – Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat – were temporarily suspended as the railway tracks between Mai Kaen and Raman stations were flooded.
According to the SRT, all trains will end their service at Hat Yai Junction in Songkhla province until the situation improves.
