Malaysian Embassy shares joyful Songkran 2025 video
The Embassy of Malaysia in Thailand has released a festive video message to celebrate Songkran, or Thai traditional New Year, highlighting the spirit of fun and unity under the theme “Water Connects Us All.”
In the video, embassy staff don vibrant floral shirts, joyfully splashing water and dancing in traditional Ramwong style, joining in the festive mood of Thailand’s famous New Year celebration.
As Thailand’s southern neighbor, Malaysians are no strangers to Songkran. The water festival has long been popular among Malaysian tourists, many of whom travel to Thailand each year to take part in the joyful holiday.
