Recently, three Myanmar nationals – two men aged 20 and 17 and a one-year-old – were caught trying to cross the natural border into Thailand and were found to have high fever.
The provincial governor announced on Wednesday that the 20-year-old and the toddler were found to be free of Covid-19, while they were waiting for test results on the third person.
Doctors from Thong Pha Phum Hospital, where the tests were conducted, said the three people had not visited high-risk areas in their country and that their fever was not from the virus.
