There were three new Covid-19 cases in state quarantine over a 24-hour period, the government’s Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA), reported on Sunday (July 19).
It was the 55th day without a domestic case since May.
Of the new cases, two men had returned from Singapore and one had returned from Sudan, Dr Taweesin Visanuyothin, the CCSA spokesman, said.
As of July 19, the total number of confirmed cases in the country stood at 3,249 (312 in state quarantine) -- 95 are under treatment, 3,096 have recovered and been discharged, and there have been 58 deaths.
Globally, the total number of confirmed cases is 14.4 million, up by 233,010 on Saturday, 8.6 million have recovered while deaths exceed 604,000. Thailand remains 101st among countries with most number of cases. The US has the highest number of cases (3.8 million), followed by Brazil (2 million) and India (1 million ).
