The order was signed on Friday (April 3) by CAAT director-general Chula Sukmanop.
This move comes in line with a recent order scrapping all air transport in the province from April 10 to 30 to stem the spread of Covid-19. Phuket authorities had earlier ordered a halt to all air and marine transport effective from March 30 to April 30.
The CAAT order exempts services offered to state or military aircraft, emergency landings, technical landing with no passenger disembarking, humanitarian aid as well as medical and relief flights, repatriation flights and cargo aircraft.
