The department said that a weakening high-pressure system covered upper Thailand and the South China Sea while southeasterly winds blew over the Central and the East. Mornings in the North will be cool with fog.
Light rains are forecast for the South as weakening easterly winds prevail across the Gulf. All transport have been advised to proceed with caution in foggy areas.

Northern region: Cool weather and fog in the morning; temperature lows of 17-21 degrees and highs of 33-38 degrees Celsius. Temperature likely to drop to 8-15 degrees Celsius on hilltops.
Northeastern region: Cool weather and fog in the morning; temperature lows of 16-21 degrees and highs of 35-36 degrees Celsius. Temperature likely to drop to 10-15 degrees Celsius on hilltops.

Eastern region: Partly cloudy with fog in the morning and isolated rains; temperature lows of 22-26 degrees, highs of 32-37 degree Celsius; waves a metre high.
