Child Support project gets underway
The Ministry of Social Development and Human Security today (October 10) started to transfer Bt600 to government bank accounts of qualified parents of newborns who registered for the Child Support Grant (CSG) project.
The financial support will be valid until their child reaches the age of six. Babies born after October 1 will be automatically registered. To date, the project has 561,086 registered parents for a total budget of Bt1.6 billion.
