Karn, 25, was arrested earlier in the day by Technology Crime Suppression Division officers, who showed up at his home on Phaholyothin Road for posting a Facebook message that allegedly violated Section 14 of the Computer Crimes Act.
Karn’s lawyer said his client had posted historical comments that had nothing to do with the Thai monarchy. The activist, who had previously participated in rallies calling for elections, said he will fight the case because he had been hit with serious allegations for an innocent post.
