Trang announces tax revnue for FY2018/19
The revenue department of Trang has reported tax revenue of Bt713.99 billion in the first 11 months of fiscal year 2018/2019 (October 2018-August 2019), lower by some Bt77 million than the projected figure of Bt714.76 billion, Trang’s governor Learchai Chareonsup said after meeting with the Trang's joint public-private sector committee on Friday.
He said the figure was the result of lower growth following drops in the prices of rubber and palm oil, which directly impacted the province’s economy.
However, he is confident that in the upcoming fiscal year to September 2020, the province will speed up spending the budget thus improving the economy.
