Thamanat to head new water resources subcommittees

Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwan, as chairman of the National Water Resources Committee (NWRC), has established a water resources development subcommittee and a water resources conservation subcommittee to help related agencies and organisations cooperate on water resources development projects for sustainable and stable water management.

Deputy Agriculture Minister Thamanat Prompow was appointed to head the two new subcommittees. 

He will supervise water management plans, cooperate with other agencies, monitor projects – especially the important ones – from the study stage to the construction process and report to the NWRC.
