Over 300 technical papers will be presented at the conference with an aim to enhance industry efficiency, as well as discover new forms of future energy as the industry is thriving through the energy transition for a low-carbon society. The event will also be showcasing technological advancements and innovations from 60 leading corporates.

Chief Executive Officer of PTTEP as Executive Committee Chair of IPTC 2023, said that the global warming issue has captured global attention, including Thailand, reflected in the commitment to achieving carbon neutrality and net zero greenhouse gas emissions. In this regard, the energy industry plays a vital role in reaching these targets.
This edition of IPTC is a platform for industry professionals to outline their visions, exchange knowledge and experiences in solving global energy issues. This initiative aims at promoting joint collaboration in the energy transition as well as exploring new forms of clean and accessible energy, together with introducing new technologies and processes that will boost efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
"IPTC 2023 opens a great opportunity in promoting collaborative efforts among energy professionals, to drive our industry towards a low-carbon society for the future of us all," Montri said.
Adif Zulkifli, Executive Vice President & Chief Executive Officer of PETRONAS' Upstream Business as IPTC Board of Directors Chairman, added that while the world's push to energy transition continues, what the events of the past year have shown is that energy security remains of paramount importance to serve energy demand amidst the growth of global population.
This requires a balancing act to deliver current and future energy that not only is secure and affordable but also low emission. This 15th edition of IPTC is a demonstration of the support of the industry that brings together industry professionals to disseminate critical technological developments and provides unique insights to navigate today's challenges.
This year's IPTC is held on March 1 - 3, 2023 at the Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Center at CentralWorld in Bangkok under the theme "Balancing the Energy Landscape through Innovation and Sustainability".
More than 4,000 delegates from over 50 countries participate in the event. Industry leaders and professionals representing, for example, PETRONAS, Saudi Aramco, Halliburton, ExxonMobil, Pertamina Internasional EP, Chevron and Energy Development Oman will share their perspectives and knowledge on stage on various topics from pathways towards carbon neutrality, search for new forms of energy for the future, technological advances for greater efficiency in petroleum production and lowering environmental impacts. More than 300 technical papers will be presented at the conference.
Over 60 exhibition booths will be showcasing the latest innovations and technological achievements. PTTEP will exhibit the "Xplorer", a subsea pipeline inspection-class autonomous underwater vehicle, Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) technology, Flare Gas Conversion to Carbon Nanotubes, CO2 Conversion to Cyclic Carbonates for multi-purpose utilization, as well as the Smart Forest Solution by using "Varuna" Analytics platform, satellite and multispectral drone in managing green areas. Such technologies will support the company's goal to achieve carbon neutrality and other industries in reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
IPTC 2023 also provides an opportunity for university students and lecturers to attend panel discussions and exhibitions to gain further experience.
At Emerging Leaders Workshop, more than 100 young talents in the industry will exchange knowledge and perspectives with top executives and professionals.
