Joe Rogan, Demetrious Johnson praise Fabricio Andrade 

On that day, the vacant ONE bantamweight kickboxing world title will be on the line. 

Andrade has set the promotion alight since making his debut back in 2020. “Wonder Boy” capped off a six-fight unbeaten run with an unforgettable performance last time out. He dominated former bantamweight MMA champion John Lineker to claim the bantamweight MMA strap at ONE Fight Night 7 earlier this year. 

In a recent episode of the wildly popular “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast featuring ONE flyweight MMA world champion Demetrious Johnson, the pair heaped praise on the Brazilian star for his four-round demolition of Lineker. 

“Fabricio Andrade, f------ beast, man,” Johnson and Rogan said at once. 

“He’s nasty. He’s a nasty man. I think Fabricio Andrade is absolutely amazing. That fight against John Lineker,” Johnson said before Rogan interjected. 

“Bro, he was putting the boots to Lineker,” Rogan added. 

Rogan and Johnson also discussed ONE’s multi-discipline platform, as the martial arts giant offers a mix of MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing, and submission grappling at its monthly Fight Night events.  

The promotion routinely showcases talent hotbeds that remain untapped by Western scouts, such as Asia, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. 

The veteran podcast host in Rogan said that he believes some of the world’s best fighters – such as Andrade – come from all over the world, and it’s ONE that’s bringing them to the global stage. 

“Look man, these guys are out there. Those dudes are out there in the world,” Rogan said. 

“There’s kickboxers, there’s sambo guys, there’s jiu-jitsu guys. They’re out there in the world.”
