Thai badminton association joins hands with Yonex to support Thai disabled badminton players
The renowned sports equipment manufacturing company Yonex signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Badminton Association of Thailand on Monday (February 20), intending to support Thai para-badminton athletes.
The MoU focuses on encouraging Thai disabled players to perform at their best level in the BWF Para Badminton World Championships 2024, said the president of the association Patama Leeswadtrakul.
The operation of Yonex in Thailand is managed by the company- Far East Speciality.
Patama has expressed her appreciation and compliments to the company for providing support to the association.
Far East Speciality has offered its assistance in arranging international badminton championships and providing badminton referees for Thai disabled players during competitions, she said.
Thailand is set to be the host nation of the BWF Para Badminton World Championships 2024.
