Find good parties in Bangkok.

Aim for the Summit

The Summit on the 25th floor of the Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok on Sukhumvit Soi 24 opens tonight with a free “Speakeasy” party. Sparkly cocktails and fine whiskies will be served to the tune of Broadway babe Kristen Rossi’s theatrical tones. The cocktails are free for ladies from 6 to 8pm. Otherwise all drinks are Bt250 and canapes and cold cuts Bt150 per plate. Call (02) 620 6666.

Good to be bad

Naughty girls and boys will instead head for Go Grrrl’s Stay Badass party tonight at the Wine Bibber Sangria on Ekkamai Soi 2. The city’s only queer indie night promises dance tunes from Grimes to Iggy Azalea, Garbage to Crystal Castles, Gossip to the Knife. Come as you are and dance like no one’s looking. The party starts at 9.30. Admission is Bt150.

Let’s get Together

Dance till you drop at the Together Festival tomorrow at Bitec in Bang Na. Dutch superstar spinner Afrojack returns to Bangkok for the event while MakJ, DJ Blend, Asper and D-Wayne make their debut. Be there around 7pm with a Bt1,550 pass from www.Amiando.com/TogetherFestival2014 or www.ThaiTicketMajor.com. The festival has a Facebook page, too.

Drop It and dance

The freshest and most invigorating deep house and techno are on tap at Sunday’s “Drop It” party at Dickinson’s Culture Cafe on Phra Arthit Road. ElecTRom and Miss Tantany will queue up sexy, mature and sophisticated beats to go with the good vibes and cheap drinks. It’s free to get in. Call (089) 497 8422.

Benny takes a bow

Party on Thursday at V Club on Sukhumvit Soi 11 with Benny Grauer, one of the most inspiring figures in Germany’s electronic-music underground. His inimitable style takes him to clubs across Europe, and he’s never limited to any particular genre. Entry is free. Ladies get three drinks on the house before midnight. Call (082) 308 3246.
