Through Thursday, the largest floral garden in Southeast Asia is blooming with a display of gentle Thai traditions associated with the lunar New Year.
Featured are beauty parades of Songkran ladies and a ceremony in which elephant calves pay respect to their mothers by sprinkling water with flower petals.
"Visitors are also invited to pour water on nine famous Buddha figures at the Garden In The Sky area," said the tropical garden’s director, Kampol Tansajja.
He added that the venue has imposed measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in line with government standards.
