Youngsters between 6- 12 years learned football tips from Nagoya's former captain and former Japan’s national player Yuichi Maruyama and Brazilian internationals Jo, Xavier and Mateus.
Up to 216 children from Chiang Mai and nearby provinces took part in the session which was presided over by Nagoya Grampus president Koki Konichi.
“The football training session is supposed to inspire children to enjoy football with proper techniques ranging from possession, passing, scoring as well as teamwork. We hope that participating youngsters will apply all techniques to develop their game in the future,” said Nagoya manager Yahiro Kazama.
