Is the solution to overpopulation Daleks?

He argues that population control, not changes in diet, is the solution to saving the planet. But you have billions of people who are already here. What does Pike suggest we do? Exterminate them?
In America it’s been estimated that 80 per cent of the corn that is grown is fed to livestock and over half of the water we use goes to livestock production. I’m a strong supporter of both family planning  and vegetarianism. But we can not afford to wait for the population to dramatically reduce itself before we make the lifestyle changes that are necessary to save this planet.
