A colourful, entertaining haven from dull mainstream orthodoxy

I doubt whether Thailand’s English-language newspapers are using proxies to express alternative views on their letters pages, as A Johnsen suggests. With the exception of the outstanding Asia News Network, The Nation’s choice of international newsfeeds is entirely left-wing globalist, which is why reporting on European affairs is 100-per-cent anti-Brexit, and American affairs 100-per-cent anti-Trump. If Fox and Breitbart were introduced into the mix, we might get a more representative 50-50 which would accurately reflect public opinion.
However, with things as they stand, Have Your Say is to be applauded for restoring a balance of opinion on current affairs, often in highly-coloured and entertaining language, and exposing issues that the mainstream media don’t want us to know about. Long may this continue. And just for the record, I hereby confirm that I am not a proxy.
