Mexican border atrocity robs US of moral high ground

More than 2,000 children have been taken away from their parents at the US-Mexico border – under President Donald Trump’s “zero-tolerance” policy in cases of illegal entry at the border.
According to news reports and photos, the separated migrant children are being kept in oversize kennels, sleeping on mats on a bare concrete floor with only foil blankets for comfort.
It looks like the humanity situation in the US is no better than the rest of the world after all.
And it is likely becoming worse and worse, unless the Democratic Party is successful in putting into law its Keep Families Together Act, introduced by Senator Dianne Feinstein of California, to outlaw President Trump’s so-called “unconscionable action” at the Mexican border.
