Dee Lite hits the roast

DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok celebrates oven-cooked meat and shellfish in its “Hit the Roast” theme night buffet at Dee Lite restaurant.

Guests can enjoy a selection of items from the roast and grilled menu including Australian ribs, whole pig from Trang in southern Thailand, Chinese duck, Virginia ham, whole salmon and leg of lamb. All come with a sumptuous selection of side dishes.

The Asian appetisers include roasted bamboo filled with fish curry, roasted prawns on sugar cane, and noodle soup with roasted Chinese pork and shrimp dumplings.

There’s Mediterranean classics too, among them roasted Italian sausage with caramelised onions, mozzarella cheese and thyme; and roasted red pepper with pine nuts, shredded roasted chicken and basil pesto penne.

The Dee Lite chalk board menu features a selection of roasted meats for the main course including herb pot roast with pork rib soup; roast rack of lamb with garlic and pepper sauce, and wok-fried roasted seafood in hot basil sauce.

Diners can also feast on fresh seafood and shellfish featuring New Zealand mussels, oysters from France, sweet clams and fresh salmon, cold cuts, cheese, desserts, ice cream and seasonal fruits.

Entertainment is provided by the resident duo.

The “Hit the Roast” themed dinner buffet is available every Saturday evening from 6 to 10 and is priced at Bt950 net including soft drinks. Children aged six to 12 years pay half price. Children under six eat for free.
