“Buakaw” leads boxers around the world to attend WaiKru Ceremony

Here comes again the activity which all Thai boxers around the world look forward to,“World WaiKruMuay Thai Ceremony”. The ceremony is held for the 13^th time in this year by Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) in cooperation with PhraNakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, Fine Arts Department,KruMuaythai Association, Thai Martial Art Institute Association, World MuayThai Federation, and Professional Boxing Association of Thailand, to present the uniqueness of “Thai style” to promote and enhance the knowledge and understanding to the foreigner who are interested in Thai boxing to realize the importance of Thai boxing and WaiKruMuay with the aim to make the foreign Thai boxers realize the importance of WaiKruMuay Thai Ceremony agreeing with the concept, “Once in a life time of Muay Thai learners, they must come to the WaiKruMuay Thai Ceremony in Thailand” and travel to WaiKruMuay Thai in Thailand every year.

There are also a number of activities, for example, professional Thai boxing competition of “Wonderful World Heritage Muay Thai Competition” to view the competition of professional Thai boxing between Thai boxers and foreign boxers; the fairs of famous Thai boxing camps, and sales of products related to Thai boxing including the Thai boxing learning courses from various Thai boxing camps;exhibition of ancient weapons; demonstration of knife and sword making from Ban Aranyik which is the original method; mystic symbol tattoo making, and mystic symbol tattoo painting on the boxing vests; and Thai martial art performance. In this year, garland weaving and inscribed cloth weaving is added. “BuakhaoBanchamek” kindly leads Thai boxers from around the world to attend the Rum WaiKruCeremony together with “SamartPhayakarun”, “AnuwatKaewsamrit”, and “SaengmaneeOumkatong Chiang Mai Gym”,

Buakhao Banchamek says, “World WaiKruMuay Thai Ceremony in this year is held for the 13^th time. In practicing Muay Thai, what all boxers have to practice first is “WaiKru”. As a boxer, I feel deeply proud and honored to Rum WaiKru and lead all Thai boxers from around the world to attend the ceremony. Moreover, there is also the Meet and Greet activity for fan club to closely meet with the boxers that will be held on 17^th March, 2017, at WatMahathat and WatLangkhakhao, PhraNakhon Si Ayutthaya Historical Park, PhraNakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.”
