Suthichai Yoon eloquently outlined how the media had lived in a bubble and totally missed that Donald Trump would be America’s next president. In a letter responding to that column two days later, I added, “People are tired of … enduring Somali jihadists settled in rural Minnesota.”
Well, two days later, news breaks that a young man drove his car into 11 students at Ohio State University and then slashed them with a butcher’s knife, in an Islamic terror attack that was ended by a hail of police gunfire. Where is this young man from, you may ask? Somalia.
As I write, it is unclear if all the innocent students will survive, but this much is plain: Donald Trump won the American election because you cannot take the uncivil and uneducated from primitive Islamic wastelands and settle them with peaceful citizens. Not two days ago did I warn of Somali jihadists and not two days passed until they struck again. What a difference a day makes.
