British luxury shoe and accessories brand Charlotte Olympia gets set for autumn with the Mechanix Pre-Fall collection of sleek footwear adorned with pearl and geographic motifs and bags resembling mini robots. Inspired by Fritz Lang’s classic sci-fi movie “Metropolitan”, the designs are fashioned around machines and robots yet maintain a feminine and luxurious sense of Art Deco.

Delicate ankle-strap court shoes come in primary colours and with playful cog and stud detailing. The Spring in Her Step metallic platform sandals are engineered with towering 145mm heels while the High Voltage heels play with abstract parts. 

You’ll stand above the crowd in Sky Scraper sandals with an ankle strap and uppers depicting the New York City skyline in textured silver calfskin with a sparkling crystal detail and shine at party time in glittering Electra peep toe sling-backs in power pink satin with a gold faceted mirror heel and platform. 

Trendy clutch boxes borrow playful robotic characters such as Rusty Rosie and Metal Molly, colourful satin pouch bags boast plexi limbs and a gold metal chain, while the gold B49 robot clutch comes in galvanised brass with enamel detail.
