Police not as incompetent as people claimed
After more than a week of denigration of the Thai police investigation into the Erawan Shrine bombing, perhaps it is time for the critics to pause and acknowledge that the police are perhaps not as incompetent as they have been painted in some quarters.
Without pre-empting any future trial outcomes, it would seem that painstaking investigation has led to a major breakthrough in this horrendous crime. It is surely time to give the police a break and allow them to continue their search for other alleged participants.
