A new wrinkle
Boutique Newcity has opened a 20-square-metre shop on the first floor of CentralWorld devoted to Spanish fashion brand Adolfo Domínguez. It’s also a showcase for Adolfo’s daughter Tiziana who is following in dad’s footsteps with her “Wrinkles are Beautiful” collection.
The autumn-winter for women is inspired by ’70s art while the men’s takes its lead from the UK’s industrial revolution.

Salander style
Stieg Larsson’s enigmatic anti-heroine Lisbeth Salander, from the best-selling books, the Swedish film trilogy and the Hollywood remake “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”, is an unlikely trendsetter.
From her multiple facial piercings and choppy, jet-black hair to her ripped tees and work boots held together with duct tape, Lisbeth’s look is not only unconventional, some might find it off-putting.
Yet Swedish retailer H&M sees an opportunity in sprucing up Salander’s style and making it safer for the masses.
The Dragon Tattoo Collection, created by costume designer Trish Summerville, features faux-leather coats, biker pants, shredded tees and dark denim miniskirts, along with swirly, spiked earrings. studded belts and black boots.
