Hot : Fire breaks out in Betong shophouses

MIRI - A block of double-storey shophouses in Betong town located in Sri Aman Division in southern Sarawak is on fire.

Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department said the fire started at about 950am just now. So far the fire has burned three shophouses, said Bomba Sarawak in its latest update.

Fire-fighters have gone to the site and are still battling the blaze, it said. Betong town is located about 250km from state capital Kuching.
