Rescued hornbill succumbs to injuries
An injured hornbill found on Koh Chang island on November 19 succumbed to its injuries on Thursday night at a veterinary in Chonburi province.
Veterinarian Jadet Siridamrong said the bird died at around 10pm even though the team at Nuern Plub Warn Hospital tried to help it with an aspirator.
The bird had been found injured near Khiripetch Waterfall and was believed to have been shot. It arrived at the hospital on November 21.
