Chon Buri man held for 'physically abusing' stepson

The kindergarten teacher posted a picture of the boy with bruises all over his body and asked organisations related to child abuse to help him.

On Tuesday, police acknowledged the situation and arrested the 24-year-old stepfather. During interrogation, he confessed to the crime.

The police also reported that the man allegedly had drugs on his body and he was charged with using illegal substances.

The boy’s mother was summoned to meet the police on Wednesday.

The provincial social development and human security office has taken in the boy to evaluate his mental condition before sending him for treatment.
