Education minister invites students to help improve educational system

In response to the “Bad Student” protest on Wednesday (August 19), Education Minister Nataphol Teepsuwan posted a message on Facebook saying he understood students’ viewpoints and invited them to discuss how the Thai educational system can be improved.

He said he wanted to solve their problems correctly without any interference.
The minister also said he appreciated the fact that young people are questioning their rights and freedoms, adding that his ministry will give them an opportunity to voice their opinions under democratic principles. He also promised to reduce pressure from teachers and school administration.
Natapol said he was ready to listen to their suggestions and what they believe to be the best solutions.
