Songkhla Zoo is closed during the lockdown, but keepers there still have to take care of animals – especially now, with summer temperatures rising.
The zoo is easing the stress on animals by giving them frozen food hung on sticks to play with.The lions and the tigers are enjoying the challenge of trying to catch frozen pig-legs hung from trees by the keepers.
The “pork popsicles” are then jerked up and down, giving the big cats exercise as they leap to grab the meaty treats.
