Trang closes its doors in effort to contain Covid-19

Trang province will shut the entrance to the province from Friday (April 10) until April 30 to further tighten efforts to stem the spread of Covid-19.

The decision was made by the Communicable Disease Committee on Thursday.
As part of the new measures, no one will be allowed to enter or leave the province, except for the transport of medical workers, goods, fuel, and parcels.
Trang residents who return to the province will be quarantined for 14 days.
It will also close department stores, except supermarkets, pharmacies, food, banks and telecom shops.
