Thai AirAsia X has ordered the cabin crew arriving back in Thailand on the same flight (XJ621, Sapporo - Bangkok) as an elderly man, who was later tested for Covid-19 infection, to take 14 days off and notify the Department of Disease Control for surveillance and health eximination.
The passenger returned to Thailand on February 20. He then went to see a doctor at B.Care Medical Center and was found to be infected with Covid-19.
In regard to the case, Thai AirAsia X said it had strictly adhered to instructions and standards of the World Health Organisation, including informing and coordinating with the Department of Disease Control and related agencies.
Other passengers on the same flight have also been notified , it said.
Furthermore, interiors of the airline has been sprayed and sterilized intensively.
