Three arrested with 500kg of kratom leaves in Phuket

Police on Monday arrested three suspects with a total of 502 kilograms of kratom leaves in Kathu, central Phuket.

Border Patrol police arrested Nattee Sukan, 34, Nattawut Lakhin, 20, and Nantawan Kuna, 18 – at a rented room in the district.
They were taken to Kathu police station to face charges of possessing illegal Category-5 drugs with intent to sell.
They told police that they had been hired by an unnamed woman to deliver the kratom to her customers.
