The bureau, which is part of the Meteorological Department, said the first quake of 3.0 magnitude happened at 9.48pm in Lampang’s Wang Nua district with its epicentre 3 kilometres deep. The epicentre was located at 19.243 latitude north and 99.621 longitude east.
Then at 10.02pm, a 2.4 magnitude quake followed, with its epicentre 1 kilometre deep. It was located at 19.239 latitude north and 99.628 longitude east.
