Fake Bt500 banknote used to buy cigarettes in Krabi store
A woman used a fake Bt500 banknote a convenience store in Krabi’s Muang district on Wednesday to buy a pack of cigarettes and a lighter for Bt72 and made off with the change in real currency.
The store manager, Maimunoh Somsa, 43, only realised this later and informed the police.
Police are investigating the case and trying to track down the source of the fake note.
