Despite the slogan making no sense, it is clear the PWA is asking islanders to conserve the remaining water supplies.
The campaign comes as residents complain about low pressure or no water in several areas.
The PWA chief, Nopparat Maythaweekunchai, has inspected water supplies in Phuket in the past 24 hours.
“Water in the three main water supplies in Phuket, which are Bangward Dam in Kathu, Bang Naew reservoir in Thalang and Klong Katha reservoir in Chalong are getting low as there has been no rain for a long time.
“We have continued to find more water supplies in lagoons to make sure that there is enough to service residents.
“However, we need the cooperation of everyone to save every drop under our slogan ‘Save water, you make it’.”
